Mental health is complex and multi-faceted, influencing and influenced by a person’s environment, interpersonal relationships, life experience, spirituality, biological makeup, and individual personality. Mental health is central to a person’s quality of life.
Dr. Carter-Orbke has had the privilege of collaborating with clients seeking to heal their mental health and improve their quality of life since 2008. Bearing witness to their journeys has been a joy.
Using psychiatric medications combined with therapeutic interventions, Dr. Carter-Orbke prioritizes a focus on whole-person care and evidence-based treatment in her practice.
Dr. Carter-Orbke received her Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Chatham University. She is board-certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and engages in continuing education through organizations such as APNA, IAEDP, and SAMHSA.
